Hi, we're Abbie & Jayke — the heart (and hands) behind Pawprints & Promises — and we’re here to make sure your furry family member is part of your wedding day without a moment of stress for you.
Animals have always been part of our world. For years we've worked hands-on in animal care — from running our boutique farm stay and doggy daycare since 2017, to completing multiple professional pet sitting, dog psychology & training certifications in addition to a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2019. Pawprints & Promises are fully insured and have a current police background check — for your peace of mind when we’re picking up and returning your pet to your home.
About Pawprints & Promises
On your wedding day, our role is simple: to be your pet’s dedicated companion, caretaker, and biggest fan. We'll know their routine inside and out — from feeding times to bathroom breaks — and we'll handle everything from keeping them clean and smelling fresh, to making sure they’re comfortable between photos, to parading them at the reception so everyone gets to say hello.
We don’t just “mind” your pet — we anticipate their every need. We manage the little details you’d never want to worry about on your wedding day, like wiping muddy paws before photos, making sure they stay hydrated, keeping them settled during speeches, and ensuring they leave the day happy, safe, and stress-free.
We love weddings — genuinely. We’ll celebrate with you, laugh with you, and probably cry during your vows. We blend in on the day, dressed to match your wedding’s style, so your pet’s care feels seamless and your photos stay beautiful.
We also provide your venue with a Pet Care Certification outlining our insurance, qualifications, and handling procedures, so you can be confident everyone — two-legged and four-legged — is in safe hands.
Whether your pet is with us for just the ceremony or from sunrise to sparkler send-off, our goal is always the same: to give you peace of mind, knowing your dog is being cared for with the same love, attention, and professionalism we give our own.
